studio.work is a creative studio founded in 2012 by interdisciplinary artist and designer Egor Kraft, short before he finished studies in Central Saint Martins College, London. He has also found and curated words.works, a public platform that aims to explore the possibilities and aesthetics of text in on and off-line public spaces. His critically acclaimed digital mystification on the discovery of brand new color went viral. He participated in biennales and international group shows. Originally from St.Petersburg he had studied and worked in Tokyo, London, Berlin, Moscow & Vienna.
Approach
The studio specialises in creative direction, art direction and design for public spaces, print and digital as well as video. By bringing all means of collaborative practice intovisual and conceptual fruition it works in the fields of culture and commerce. Working across a wide range of mediums and a deep involvement in today’s cultural drive are key aspects for the studio in the process of developing creative solutions and applying the new strategies to deal with today’s creative demands at visual-aesthetical and conceptual levels. In recent years studio.work has worked on commissions in the UK, Europe, Australia, Japan, Russia and US with leading brands institutions & companies as well as small businesses and artists.
